Meanwhile...

If you haven't seen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles yet—and, trust me, there's no real reason to run out and do so—then you might think I am joking, but see that image above? That is the point in the movie where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ride an elevator to the top of a very tall building to fight The Shredder and save the city from poison gas, and where they literally start beat-boxing and using their weapons as percussion instruments, providing their own elevator music.

For a full review of the movie, well, there are a lot of places you could probably go. But for a full review of the movie by me personally, you'll have to head over to this post on Comics Alliance.

I also have a review of Emily Carroll's new-ish—it was release a few weeks ago—collection of scary short stories, Through The Woods, an all-around, legitimately awesome comic book, and one whose title I've already added to my list of comics to consider when "best of the year" time rolls around in four more months (With Andre The Giant, Ant Colony, Beautiful Darkness, Benson's Cuckoos, Noah, Seconds, The Shadow Hero and White Cube). That piece is at Robot 6.
